How were you recruited?
I was recruited by a girl I worked with (teachers). She told me she made more money selling MK than she did teaching. Later on I thought it was odd when she got so upset about possibly losing her teaching job (we weren’t tenured yet). If MK was doing so great, why all the tears and panic over losing your teaching job? But I was already recruited and spent the money by then.
I borrowed the money from my parents. This girl and her director convinced me that having lots of stock on hand would be what made me more successful than anybody else. They also highly touted the tax deductions I would get. I just had my taxes done, and boy was I lied to. The accountant said she sees this often. New MK recruits coming in for the first time to get help with their taxes are in for a rude awakening.
And like an idiot, I let the director order my products. She ordered things that wouldn’t sell and I’ve had to order more of the popular products. She also ordered products later that I did not authorize. Now I am deep in debt and have to dig out. I was hoping to get some ideas of how best to get rid of all of this product.
