I'm L.J. the "lightkeeper" at the PinkLighthouse.

I started this site in my head years ago, after many years as a Mary Kay consultant. The site became a reality nearly three years ago.

When I was considering joining Mary Kay, there weren't any sites like this one. Believe me, I spent some time online trying to find answers to my questions. I wanted to know what really went on in Mary Kay. Did anyone really use these products? How much money could you realistic make as a Consultant? How much time was I going to have to spend? These were just some of my questions and I couldn't find an answer to any of them. 

I did find dozens upon dozens of sites created by Mary Kay Consultants and Directors, but they didn't provide the information I was looking for. I read testimonials by Consultants telling how wonderful Mary Kay was: the company, the product, and the woman. But I couldn't tell if any of these women were making any money.

The PinkLighthouse exists to provide the details that the woman who is trying to get you to sign up to be a Mary Kay Consultant probably won't tell you. We'll give you all the details.
