Lipstick I came across this site by accident. I was looking for tips about things concerning Mary Kay and this website came up. I didn’t know what I was in for just trying to make a point that all women in Mary Kay weren’t the same. But you all seem to have it all figured out so no one stands a chance trying to state a point around here. Thanks for your view points. Good bye!

Agreed BC, …Talking about it and doing it are two very different things, at least WhoCares excels at something: talking about it…from her posts you can see she has not really experienced MK. If she paid attention she would realize nobody here is interested in what she says…as SHE STATES NOTHING OF RELEVANCE!
The next time I need an uninformed opinion, I will know where to go…WhoCares !

Unlike you, Melissa has the balls to call what’s really going on, and I respect that.

You state you do what you want with to do when you want to do it, and apparently you want to spend your time trolling strangers. Must be a fulfilling life you lead.

I love how most of you on here categorize anyone in Mary Kay as “they”.

You just bunch everyone in together as “they” or “kaybots” (what a stupid name) and put EVERYONE down in Mary Kay.

It seems you want to argue because you can’t think of anything concrete to say that proves we are wrong.
Truth is truth it isn’t a color. But if you want to make the comparison between what I speak and colors, then you realize that black is black, white is white. Truth is truth and deceit is deceit. Nothing is sort of black or sort of deceitful.
A statement is either truthful as written or it is false. I speak of my experiences and so do the others on this board. If your experience has been different, it has nothing to do with mine. We had different experiences. Mine are just as valid as yours. I will say that there are fewer people talking about how wonderful MK is than those who say it was the best thing that ever happened to them.
Making the statement that those who had bad experiences were just not working their business like a business and therefore failed, does not invalidate their experience or make it incorrect. Making the assumption that those who failed didn’t properly investigate is lumping everyone into the same category.
My real question is this: “If everything is so wonderful in MK why are you on an anti-MK site? Did you fail to investigate thoroughly? Do you think you might have made a mistake? Are you looking for real answers that you aren’t finding in MK?”
If you don’t want to be lumped into the same category as “Kaybots” say something original instead of making statements about how somebody failed to investigate or are placing blame when they really didn’t work it like a business.
I take full responsibility for my decision to join MK and for my failure to see through the “dreams” painted to the reality that they were just dreams and I was stupid enough to believe the deception and lies in MK i believed if I just worked a little harder or a little longer, I could be successful. Pointing out the inconsistencies in MK scripted statements is not placing blame it is merely exposing the truth…there is no 50% profit to be made in MK or any other MLM. No matter how hard or how long you work, there is no 50% profit.

Lipstick,that was your response to my very first post, which was polite and stating my opinion. As I was telling Tam I didn’t attack anyone you pounced on me because of a name I chose to put in on this website. I was responding to her post telling me if you don’t want to be lumped into the “kaybot” group, don’t attack. I was simply trying to say I didn’t attack anyone I was the one who was attacked. You attacked my character based on your own presumptions which were loosely based on the name I chose for this website.

Yes I fully understand the word usage of “kaybot”. I was just wondering how me presumably attacking someone on here placed me in that category as Tam suggested.

BC, I think you need to look harder for some heros. Melissa’s statement is hardly hero worthy.
