How were you recruited?
I was approached by a former classmate at a doctor’s appointment.

What about Mary Kay appealed to you most?
Flexibility, to be able to stay at home, work my own hours, income potential.

Tell us about one of your most memorable or embarassing situations while in Mary Kay
I had won a 20/20 challenge and was supposed to receive a full makeover by Robert Jones, the makeup artist, and the makeover was to be valued at $150.00. When it came time for my makeover, he only had time to do one eye on each person. I was embarrassed, but more than that, I was extremely hurt. I busted my butt for this makeover and all I got was one eye done!

What are you doing now? Working full or part time? Working from home? etc.
Due to my health, I am unable to work at all. I am a stay at home mom.

What did you learn from your Mary Kay experience?
To not be naive enough to believe everything I am told, to listen to my gut instinct and question when I feel something is not right, to make sure others are not misled about Mary Kay or direct sales.
